You’re tired of using things that feel empty — mass-produced, soulless, and forgettable.

You want more than just another mug in the cupboard.
You want something that feels like it was made for you — with care, with story, with hands that understand the weight of ritual and beauty.

The problem? Most things we use every day are made for convenience at the lowest cost, not connection. And that leaves you surrounded by stuff that doesn’t matter.

Who We Are

We’re Jason and Madeleine — archaeologists turned potters.

It all started with a Christmas gift: two spots in a beginner pottery class at the Archie Bray Foundation. We were just looking to connect with the new town we had moved to — we didn’t expect to fall head over heels for clay.

But there was something about it. The spinning wheel. The smell of wet earth. The way your hands leave a mark that stays. It reminded us of the things we used to dig up — artifacts with fingerprints still embedded in the surface, small everyday objects that carried deep meaning.

Jason fell for the wheel — the rhythm, the repetition, the feel of form taking shape. Madeleine started carving, drawing on her love of old symbols, fossils, and folk art to tell stories in clay.

We make pottery that feels like something unearthed — a little wild, a little weathered, and always made to be used.

Most things we use every day are mass-produced and soul-less.

That’s why we make two collections — to bring story, beauty, and intention back into the everyday.

Each one is a response to that ache for meaning. One collection is carved with ancient creatures and quiet folklore, made for your morning rituals. The other is kissed by fire and shaped by chance — pottery that speaks to the collector in you.
